Believers Pathway

On the believers' pathway, we journey with grace
From the cross to the throne, we fix our gaze
Light bearers we are, shining bright and bold
In darkness we bring, God's love to unfold

Through cultivation, our hearts are tilled
Transformed by His love, our souls are filled
Growing in faith, we reach new heights
For our God is faithful, in every fight

Word study we do, to know His ways
In His truth, our hearts stay ablaze
Fellowship with God, our souls delight
In His presence, all is made right

Sustenance from God, we daily receive
In His mercy and love, we fully believe
Our journey continues, on this earthly sod
For on this believers' pathway, we walk with God

With each step we take, our hope is renewed
For in His promises, we find our refuge
In joy and in trials, we stand strong
For on this pathway, we know we belong

We may stumble, we may fall
But with God's grace, we'll rise above all
For in His hands, we are safe and secure
On this believers' pathway, His love will endure

So let us walk on, with our heads held high
With our hearts full of faith, and our spirits revived
For our journey may be long, and the road may be rough
But on this believers' pathway, we'll find more than enough.

A Room of Possibilities

Within my mind lies a room, Filled with books of every kind, Some opened, some closed, And some buried in the cobwebs of time.   Stories of love and loss, Of heartache and of glee, Tales of my past triumphs, And regrets that still haunt me.   I find myself drawn, To the books that are open wide, Eager to immerse myself, In the stories they hide.   But as I look around, I realize I'm trapped in a cage, Not made of bars or walls, But of my own fears and doubts. A Woman's Choice

A woman's choice is not an easy one to make, for there are many voices that try to dictate.  Society, parents, friends, and lovers too,  all want to tell her what she should do.   They all claim, "Do this, don't do that,"  trying to mold her into their own ideal frame. But these voices only bring her down,  draining her joy, like a king without a crown.   As a woman, she has learned to pretend, masking her true feelings until the very end. Sacrificing for the opposite gender, forgetting her  own needs in surrender.
